Parrot export to USA 

More and more pet owners are now taking their pets overseas with them when emigrating to America. 

Note the birds will NEVER be allowed to return to Australia

Before we start the process we place a mini ISO microchip for easy , standardized identification of the pet at the various ports of travel.

An Aqis vet can certify that your bird traveling to USA is :

Free from -

• Clinical Newcastle disease
• Avian influenza 
• Ornithosis or chalmydiosis

Some conditions 

For parrot export to America 

Up to two psittacine birds may be exported to the USA per family
per year. 

Contact  the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities for any additional requirements or restrictions on the export of birds.
